You can’t make a second first impression. After I’ve met someone for the first time I want them to leave feeling encouraged, inspired and excited about everything in the future. As a business, it is so important to make a positive first impression to all those potential customers out there. Whether it is through your social media channels, your shop front or through a networking event. A first impression is going to leave a lasting impression on not only you as a person but the business that you represent.
One of the biggest factors of a first impression is the voice which you are spoken to. If you are spoken to by someone who is negative, shows no interest in you and seems like they do not want to be there you are very likely to have a negative perception of the business which they are representing. On the other hand though. If you have a genuine conversation with someone who is engaged and positive, the first impression you get of that person, and the business which they represent is going to be more positive.
In branding sessions and workshops which we have previously been apart of the phrase be the hero, your customer needs have been bought up again and again. What does it mean though? How does this relate to the voice of your business? A customer will come to you because they need help. Whether it is finding the perfect piece of furniture for their living room or what clothes they should be buying. You are the hero with the answers for them, you are the specialist in your area anyway. When speaking to a customer it is important that the voice of your business is being heard, a voice with certainty, a voice of engaged and a voice of answers.
You are the hero that can answer your customer’s questions, so it is important that your voice reflects that. This is just one of the key factors in discovering your businesses voice. As a part of membership Gro Networking members have access to business mentors who are able to help them discover their businesses voice.
